BBQ Rice Recipe

The BBQ Rice Platter is a delicacy of its own kind. It’s a combination of rich and creamy barbecue chicken over rice. If you have this platter on your dinner table, you will need nothing else to impress your guests. Check out the recipe below.

  • Chicken boneless ½ Kg
  • Yogurt ½ Kg
  • Tandoori masala 3 Tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 Tbsp
  • Oil 4 Tbsp
  • Cabbage small 1 Pc
  • Capsicum medium 2 Pcs
  • Carrot large 1 Pc
  • Chili sauce 1 Tbsp
  • Garlic paste 2 Tbsp
  • Soya sauce 2 Tbsp
  • Red chili flakes 1 Tbsp
  • Chinese salt (optional) 1 Tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Mayonnaise 5 Tbsp
  • Ketchup 3 Tbsp
  • Black pepper 1 Tbsp
  • Boiled Rice ½ Kg


  • Firstly, marinate all the chicken cubes in spices and leave for ½ hour
  • The more you marinate, the more juicy it gets
  • Them fry the chicken in oil until tender and also smoke it with a burning
  • Boil the rice and strain them
  • Saute the cabbage along with capsicums, carrots, and peas in 2 tbsps of oil
  • Also add the chili sauce, garlic paste, red chili flakes, soya sauce, salt and Chinese salt while mixing the pot contents altogether
  • Now add the rice and toss them with the sauteed and spiced vegetables
  • Also, give the coal smoke to the rice for a BBQ touch
  • Mix mayonnaise with ketchup and black pepper in a bowl and set it aside
  • Preheat the oven to 180C
  • Shift the rice to an ovenproof dish and layer the bbq chicken on it and lastly, pour all the mayonnaise mixture on it
  • Bake them for around 10 minutes
  • Serve hot on a platter after garnishing
