Ingredients for Special Nihari Masala

  1. coriander 2 tbsp
  2. fennel seeds 4 tbs
  3. bay leaves 2
  4. black pepper 1 tbs
  5. cloves 1 tbs
  6. nutmeg small piece
  7. mace small piece
  8. black cumin ½ tbs
  9. cumin seeds 1 tbsp
  10. black cardamom 4
  11. Green cardamom 4
  12. Long pepper 2 sticks
  13. Dried ginger small piece 1 Tsp
  14. Star anise 2
  15. cinnamon sticks 2
  16. Salt 1 ½ tbs
  17. Red chili powder 1 tbs
  18. Coriander powder 2 tbsp
  19. Turmeric 1 Tsp
  20. Kashmiri pepper powder 1tbs

Ingredients for Nihari

  1. Cooking Oil ½ cup
  2. Beef bong 1 kg + bones ½ kg
  3. Ginger paste 1 tbsp
  4. Garlic paste 1 tbsp
  5. Whole wheat flour 1/3 cup
  6. Water 1 cup
  7. Special Nihari masala 100 gms
  8. Water 2 ltr  

Flour mixture Ingredients

  1. Flour 4 tbs + water ½ cup

Tarri Ingredients

  1. Cooking Oil 2 cup
  2. Kashmiri Lal Mirch 2 tbs

Garnish Ingredients

  1. Ginger finely chopped
  2. Green chilies
  3. Coriander leaves Chopped
  4. Lemon juice

Directions for Nihari Masala

  1. To make special Nihari masala, First, we add all whole ingredients for Nihari masala in a blender and grind them finely and you special Nihari Masala is ready for Nihari Recipe.

Directions for Nihari Recipe

  1. To make Nihari recipe, First, heat oil in a pressure cooker, add beef and bones and fry them for 2 to 3 minutes.
  2. Now, Add ginger garlic and fry on high flame for 1 to 2 minutes and Add ¾ cup of Nihari masala and mix these ingredients well.
  3. Now, Add 2 liters of water and bring it to boil in above ingredients and Make sure that you add enough water to dip all the ingredients.
  4. Now take a separate bowl dissolve 1/3 cup flour in 1 cup of water and add it to the Nihari and boil for 2 to 3 minutes.
  5. Now, close the pressure cooker and cook all the ingredients for 60 to 70 minutes.

Directions for Tarri

  1. To prepare Tarri, First heat oil in a medium-size pan and add Kashmiri Lal Mirch and mix for 30 seconds and set aside.
  2. Now, Turn off the flame and open pressure cooker.

Note: Follow pressure cooker safety guidelines.

  1. Check meat and consistency of gravy. If required, dissolve flour in water and add to the Nihari recipe and cook until desired consistency and your recipe is ready to serve.

Serve your recipe with garnish ingredients if a person wants according to their taste and flavor what they want.
