Black Pepper Chicken Recipe

Black Pepper Chicken is yet another Chinese delicacy whose taste depends on its sauce. It involves all the spicy ingredients which you can think of with a touch of typical yummy chinese taste and veggies served along with boiled rice. The proper the sauce, the yummier the dish gets!

  • Soya sauce 3 Tbsp
  • Oyster sauce 2 Tbsp
  • Sirka (Vinegar) 1 Tbsp
  • Kali mirch (Black pepper) crushed 2 Tsp
  • Safed mirch powder (White pepper powder) 1 Tsp
  • Chicken boneless cubes 500 Gms
  • Corn flour 1 Tbsp
  • Lehsan powder (Garlic powder) ½ Tsp
  • Oil 3-4 Tbsp
  • Pyaz (Onion) diced 1 Pc
  • Red bell pepper diced small 1 Pc
  • Shimla mirch (Capsicum) diced medium 1 Pc
  • Lehsan (Garlic) crushed 1 Tsp
  • Yakhni (Chicken stock) ¼ Cup
  • Hara pyaz (Green onion) chopped 2-3 Tbs
  • Namak (Salt) to taste


  • Take a bowl and add soya sauce, oyster sauce, vinegar, ground black pepper and white pepper powder while mixing all of them together
  • Add the boneless chicken cubes in a bowl and mix corn flour and garlic powder together with it to marinate for about half an hour
  • Take a wok and add the oil and cook the marinated chicken in it until it is golden brown
  • Now add onion in the same wok along with red bell pepper and capsicum
  • Saute the contents for 1-2 minutes and set them aside
  • Take another wok and add the crushed garlic and mix it with the prepared sauce, chicken stock and cook the for about 2 minutes
  • Add the fried chicken with the mixture and mix
  • Now add the stir fried vegetables as well and mix
  • Lastly, add the green onions and sprinkle some salt and mix well
  • Serve hot with boiled rice and enjoy
