Chicken Cheese Bread Pockets Recipe

Chicken Cheese Bread Pockets are the best choice for snack parties or high teas. They can be frozen for later use and are very simple to make. Their constituents are perfectly based, with rich and creamy filling stuffed inside the crunchy bread pockets.

  • Boiled and shredded chicken 1 cup
  • Cabbage, carrot, capsicum ½ Cup (Finely cut)
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil 1-2 Tbsp
  • Soya sauce 1 Tbsp
  • Chinese Salt ½ Tsp
  • Ketchup 2 Tbsp
  • Black pepper 1 Tsp
  • Mayonaise 2 Tbsp
  • Mozzarella cheese as needed
  • Eggs 1-2 Pcs
  • Breadcrumbs as needed
  • Flour paste for binding as needed


  • To make the filling, add the chicken in oil and fry for a few seconds
  • Then add the soya sauce, salt, Chinese salt, ketchup and black pepper while mixing well
  • Also, add the vegetables and keep stirring while cooking for a few seconds
  • Let the mixture cool down and then add the cheese and mayonnaise in it, also sprinkle some chili flakes
  • You may omit the cheese if you wish to
  • Take fresh bread slices and cut them in circles then roll them with a rolling pin
  • Make a thick flour paste by mixing 2 tbsp maida or flour with water
  • Place the chicken filling in the center of the slice circle and place another circle on it while sealing the slice with the flour paste
  • Once the pockets are made, they can be frozen at this stage for later use
  • Dip them in a beaten egg and coat with crumbs before frying
  • Shallow fry until they turn golden brown
  • Serve hot along with your favorite dips
