  • Chicken boneless ½ Kg
  • Onion medium, chopped 2 Pcs
  • Tomatoes large, chopped 2 Pcs
  • Green chilies, cut into sticks 5-6 Pcs
  • Cottage cheese cubed ½ Cup
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 Tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Allspice powder/ garam masala 1 Tsp
  • Turmeric powder 1 Tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 Tsp
  • Yogurt 1 Cup
  • Oil ½ Cup
  • Coriander leaves ¼ Cup.
  • Cream 2 Tbsp


  • Take a clay pot and heat oil in it
  • Fry the chopped onions in oil until they turn golden brown
  • Now add the ginger garlic paste along with the chicken
  • Fry the chicken until its color changes
  • Then add the tomatoes along with salt, turmeric powder, red chili powder, green chilies and allspice powder
  • Add the yogurt and mix all the contents then cover with a lid and cook until the water dries
  • Now fry the contents until the oil separates
  • Cut the cottage cheese and fry it in oil
  • After making the cheese crumbs, spread them on the chicken and layer the cream on top
  • Sprinkle the coriander leaves and cover the pot with a lid to simmer on low flame for about 10 minutes
  • Remove the pot from the stove as the karahi is ready
  • Serve hot alongside naans and enjoy
