Ingredients

  1. Yogurt ½ Cup
  2. Salt 1 Tsp
  3. Poppy seeds Ground 1 Tsp
  4. Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
  5. Lemon juice 1 tbsp
  6. Almonds paste 2 tbsp
  7. Black pepper crushed ½ Tsp
  8. White pepper powder 1 Tsp
  9. Green chili paste 2 tbsp
  10. Chicken 500 gms
  11. Cooking Oil ¼ Cup
  12. Onion sliced 1 small
  13. Cinnamon stick 1 to 2
  14. Bay leaf 1
  15. Cloves 7 to 8
  16. Black peppercorns 8 to 10
  17. Black cardamom 2
  18. Cardamom 4 to 5
  19. Yogurt ¾ Cup
  20. Salt ¼ Tsp
  21. Cardamom powder ½ Tsp
  22. Green chilies halved 2 to 3
  23. Ginger Julienne cut 1 to 2 tbsp
  24. Egg Boiled 3 to 4
  25. Rice Boiled 2 Cups
  26. Kewra essence ½ Tsp

Tadka Ingredients

  1. Ghee or cooking oil 3 to 4 tbsp
  2. Cardamom 5 to 6
  3. Button red chilies 4 to 6
  4. Ginger Julienne 1 tbsp

Directions for Biryani

  1. Take a bowl, add yogurt, salt, poppy seeds, ginger garlic paste, lemon juice, almond paste, black pepper, white pepper powder and green chili paste, and mix them well.
  2. Now, Add the chicken above ingredients paste and marinate for 20 to 25 minutes.
  3. Now take a pot, add oil and onion, and fry them until translucent.
  4. Now, Add whole spices, marinated chicken, mix them well, then cover and cook on low flame for 15 to 20 minutes until done.
  5. Now, In yogurt, add salt, cardamom powder, and green chilies, and mix them well and add it to the gravy.
  6. Now, Add ginger, eggs, rice, kewra essence, cover and steam cook on low flame for 5 to 8 minutes.

Directions for Tadka

  1. Now, Take a frying pan, add ghee or cooking oil, add cardamom, button red chilies, and ginger, and fry them for 1 to 2 minutes.
  2. Now add Tadka over the white biryani, and cover for 5 to 8 minutes.
