Lachha Paratha with Creamy Dips Recipe

Lachha Paratha with Creamy Dips Recipe With Ingredients and Directions:

Ingredients for Lachha Paratha:

  • Maida (All-purpose flour) 1 Cup
  • Aata (Wheat flour) 1 Cup
  • Namak (Salt) ¼ Tsp or to taste
  • Oil ¼ Cup
  • Pani (Water) warm for kneading
  • Oil as required
  • Oil for frying

Ingredients for Honey Cream Dip:

  • Olper’s cream 1 Cup
  • Honey 2 Tsp or to taste
  • Namak (Salt) ¼ Tsp or to taste
  • Nuts crushed 1 Tbsp

Ingredients for Spicy Cream Dip:

  • Olper’s cream ½ Cup
  • Dahi (Yogurt) 1 Cup
  • Namak (Salt) ¼ Tsp or to taste
  • Zeera (Cumin) crushed & roasted ½ Tsp
  • Hari mirch (Green chillies) chopped 2 Tsp
  • Anda (Egg) boil & chopped 1 Pc

Directions for Lachha Paratha:

  1. Take a bowl and add wheat flour, salt, oil and mix
  2. Add warm water slowly and knead it until a smooth and soft dough is formed
  3. Leave it for 20 minutes to settle after covering it
  4. Take some dough and make 4 small balls and coat them in dry wheat flour
  5. Roll the 4 doughs with a rolling pin and set them aside
  6. Take one of the dough and evenly spread the ghee on its surface, dust it with flour and place another one on it while repeating this process for the two remaining rolled doughs
  7. Next, cut the entire dough into 1 inch strips and roll them like a swiss roll, then place the role on another strip and roll again
  8. Repeat the process with the remaining roles while coating them in flour
  9. After coating in dry flour, roll the dough gently without any pressure and roll it in a round shape with a rolling pin
  10. Heat the griddle and fry the multilayered paratha from both the sides
  11. Serve the paratha along with the dips and enjoy

Directions for Honey Cream  Dip:

  1. Take a bowl and mix all the ingredients such as cream, honey, salt and nuts together
  2. Honey cream dip is ready to be dipped in with paratha

Directions for Spicy Dip:

  1. Mix together cream, yogurt, salt, cumin, green chilies and egg very thoroughly
  2. Spicy cream dip is ready to be served along the paratha
