Ingredients:

  • Rice 2 Cups
  • Lemon (take out juice) 4 Pcs
  • Coconut powder ½ Cup
  • Haldi powder 1 Ttsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Mustard seeds 1 Tbsp
  • Green chilies 4-5 Pcs
  • Fresh coriander ¼ Cup
  • Oil ½ Cup

Directions:

  • First of all, boil the rice along with salt and drain the water
  • Now mix turmeric powder and lemon juice in them with a spoon
  • Then take a deep pan and add oil with mustard seeds
  • After frying for a few seconds, add the coconut along with deseeded green chilies
  • Next, add the boiled rice to the mixture and cook them for a few minutes while gradually stirring
  • Lastly, add the coriander leaves
  • Serve the fresh scented lemon rice with any kind of gravy
