  • Sirka (Vinegar) ½ Cup
  • Adrak lehsan paste (Ginger garlic paste) 1 Tbsp
  • Namak (Salt) ¼ Tsp or to taste
  • Kali mirch powder (Black pepper powder) 1 Tsp
  • Hari mirch (Green chili) Chopped 1 Tsp
  • Lal mirch (Red chili) Crushed ½ Tsp
  • Zeera powder (Cumin powder) ½ Tsp
  • Brown sugar 2 Tsp
  • Dried oregano 1 Tsp
  • Boneless Fish 6-8 Pcs
  • Oil ¼ Cup
  • Makhan (Butter) 2 Tbs
  • Marinated fish
  • Pyaz (Onion) Round slices large 1 Pc
  • Tamatar (Tomatoes) Deseeded slices 2 Pcs
  • Jalapeno ½ Cup
  • Lehsan (Garlic) chopped 1 Tsp
  • Parsley or Hara dhania (Green coriander)
  • Cornflour ½ Tsp


  • Firstly, take a bowl and mix the vinegar with ginger and garlic paste while adding salt, black pepper, chopped green chilli, crushed red chilli, cumin powder, brown sugar and dried organo
  • Add the boneless mix while giving it a good coating and leave it to marinate for about an hour
  • Add oil and butter in a frying pan and fry the marinated pieces from both the sides
  • Then add the round slices of onion, tomato slices, jalapenos and chopped garlic
  • Now Cover it and steam cook for 8-10 minutes until it’s done
  • Now garnish with the parsley and green coriander on the top
  • Add the corn flour in the remaining vinegar and mix all the spices very well
  • Now take a saucepan and cook the vinegar marinade and cook until the sauce thickens
  • Drizzle the spicy vinegar sauce over the fish
  • Spicy mexican fish is ready to be enjoyed
