Oats Cutlets with Garlic Sauce Recipe

Oats Cutlets with Garlic Sauce Recipe With Ingredients and Directions:

  • Carrot medium 1 Pc
  • Green chillies 2 Pcs
  • Instant oats 1 Cup
  • Cottage cheese ¼ Cup
  • Ginger grated ½ Tbsp
  • Garam masala powder 1 Tsp
  • Red chili powder 1 Tsp or to taste
  • Lemon juice ½ Tbsp
  • Salt 1 Tsp
  • Egg 1 Pc
  • Fresh coriander chopped ¼ Cup
  • Onion chopped ¼ Cup
  • Capsicum chopped ¼ Cup
  • Spinach blanched 2-3 Tbsp
  • Olive oil 1 Tsp
  • Tomato & Garlic sauce
  • Tomato medium 1 Pc
  • Garlic 10-12 Cloves
  • Tamarind pulp 1 Tbsp
  • Kashmiri red chili powder 1 Tbsp
  • Cumin seeds roasted & crushed 1 Tsp
  • Water 1-2 Tbsp or as required

Directions to Prepare Oat Cutlets:

  • Finely Chop the carrots and green chillies in the chopper
  • Then add the instant oats and chop them all along with cottage cheese, garam masala, red chilli powder, lemon juice, egg and salt until well combined
  • Now take a bowl and mix the oats mixture with fresh coriander, onion, capsicum and spinach
  • Grease your hand with oil before making the cutlets out of the prepared mixture in equal sizes
  • Cover the cutlets to settle for a while as they are ready to be fried
  • Grease the frying pan with olive oil and fry the cutlets on medium heat from both the sides until they are golden brown
  • You can also store the remaining cutlets in the freezer for about two weeks

Directions to Prepare Garlic Sauce:

  • Grind together tomato, garlic, tamarind pulp, red chilli powder, cumin seeds along with salt and water
  • Cop the contents until they form a fine paste
  • Spicy chutney is ready to be served alongside the crispy cutlets
