Peri Peri Rice Recipe

Make your mealtimes more flavorsome by adding this yummy peri peri rice to it. Peri Peri is an African delicacy but the spices we add to it give them a Pakistani touch. Although the dish remains exotic with an African background, it, however, comes with a Pakistani touch! Try this alongside the peri peri fries and peri peri grilled chicken to have a whole peri peri experience.

Peri Peri Rice Recipe With Ingredients and Directions:

Ingredients

  • Boiled rice 500 Gm
  • Soya sauce 2 Tbsp
  • Peri peri sauce 2 Tbsp
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 Tbsp
  • Chopped onion 2 Tbsp
  • Tomato cut into cubes medium 1 Pc
  • Capsicum medium, cubed 1 Pc
  • Oil ¼ Cup
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper 1 Tsp

Directions:

  • Heat the oil and fry the chopped onion along with ginger garlic paste for about 30 seconds while stirring it
  • Add the boiled rice along with salt, black pepper, cubed capsicum, soya sauce and peri peri sauce while mixing all the ingredients together
  • At last, add the chopped tomatoes too and let the rice simmer for about ten minutes till they get soft and presentable
  • Serve the rice hot along with grilled peri peri chicken and peri peri fries and enjoy a wholesome meal
