Ingredients for Roghni Naan Bread Sandwich

Prepare Chicken Filling:

  • Chicken pieces 500 Grms
  • Cinnamon powder 2 Pinches
  • Coriander powder  1½ Tsp
  • Cardamom powder 2 Pinches
  • Cumin powder 1 Tsp
  • Salt 1 Tsp
  • Nutmeg powder 2 Pinches
  • Red chili powder  1½ Tsp
  • Black pepper powder 1½ Tsp
  • Turmeric powder ¼ Tsp
  • Lemon juice 1 Tsp
  • Mustard paste 2 Tsp
  • Cream (if needed)  3 Tsp
  • Oil 2-3 Tsp
  • Chopped mushrooms 1 Cup
  • Capsicum large strips 1 Piece

Prepare Dough for Roghni Naan:

  • Maida 2 Cups
  • Instant yeast 1 ½ Tsp
  • Oil ½ Cup
  • Warm milk 1 Cup
  • Oil 2 Tsp
  • Sugar 2 Tsp
  • Salt 1 Tsp
  • Egg 1
  • Black and white sesame seeds As Needed

For Assembling and Serving:

  • Chopped onions and tomatoes
  • Ketchup (garlic, spicy)
  • Mayonnaise used in it
  • leaf of a salad
  • Chicken filling

Directions for Roghni Naan Bread Sandwich

Prepare Chicken Filling for the Sandwich:

First of all, add chicken and all nutmeg powder, cinnamon powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, black pepper powder, turmeric powder, cardamom powder, lemon juice, cumin powder, mustard paste and cream in bowl and mix it and marinate it well for an hour.

  • Now, in a skillet mix some oil and marinated chicken
  • Then, on a low flame cook it for 5 mins
  • Then, high the flames to dries marinated chicken
  • Now, add capsicum and mushrooms well and keep the mix aside

Prepare Dough of the Sandwich:

  • Add, Maida, instant yeast and sugar in a bowl and mix it properly
  • Add oil in the mixture and beat well
  • Now, it’s time to add whisked egg and mix until uniform
  • Then, add milk Gradually to form a soft dough
  • Then, properly cover it and leave it for 2 hours
  • Now, mix the dough and in equal proportion separate it
  • Now, use cutter to slightly cut down the dough with the help of hands
  • Then, add oil with the egg and mix it well
  • Then, sprinkle the sesame seeds over the mixture of egg and oil and leave it for about 15 minutes
  • Now, use the baking tray put grease and butter paper on it and put the dough in the tray
  • At the end leave the bake in oven for 20 mins at 180c

It’s time to serve, divide the naan in 4 pieces and add chicken filling, tomatoes, ketchup, salad leaf, onion and mayonnaise and cover it with the other half bun.
