Tandoori Chicken Cutlets Recipe

Tandoori chicken cutlets taste a lot more different than ordinary chicken cutlets. Try this restaurant style recipe and serve it alongside the tea or coffee to impress your guests. Store them in the refrigerator to later give the kids for lunch.

  • Chicken boneless 1 cup
  • Tandoori masala 1-2 Tbsp or according to your taste
  • Ginger garlic paste 1 Tsp
  • Green chili paste ½ Tsp
  • Chicken powder ½ Tsp
  • Potatoes 4 medium size
  • Black pepper ½ Tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Coriander leaves as required
  • Chopped chilies 1-2
  • Egg 1, beaten
  • Bread crumbs as needed


  • Marinate the boneless chicken in a bowl by adding tandoori masala, chicken powder, ginger-garlic paste and chilli paste while mixing the contents properly
  • Now fry the marinated chicken in 1tbsp of oil until it’s tender
  • Upon cooling, shred the chicken
  • Mash the potatoes and add the chicken mixture to it while mixing salt, black pepper, green chillies and coriander leaves
  • Shape the cutlets according to your desire
  • Dip the shapes in egg then coat in breadcrumbs
  • Shallow fry the cutlets until golden brown
  • Serve hot along with various sauces
