Vegetarian Korma Recipe

The exotic Indian Vegetarian Korma recipe is truly a delight. It is mildly spicy and rich with cream which makes it uniquely flavourful. You can either savour it with naan or plain rice.

  • Small onion, diced 1 Pc
  • Minced fresh ginger root 1 Tsp
  • Garlic cloves, minced 4 Pcs
  • Potatoes, cubed 2 Pcs
  • Carrots, cubed 4 Pcs
  • Fresh jalapeno pepper, seeded and sliced 1 Pc
  • Tablespoons ground unsalted cashews 3 Tbsp
  • Tomato Sauce 1 can (4 ounce)
  • Salt 2 Tsp
  • Curry powder 1½ Tbsp
  • Frozen green peas 1 Cup
  • Green bell pepper, chopped ½ Pc
  • Red bell pepper, chopped ½ Pc
  • Heavy cream 1 Cup
  • Fresh cilantro for garnish 1 Bunch


  1. Take a skillet and heat the oil over it
  2. Stir the onion in it until it is translucent and tender and then mix in the ginger and garlic and cook for another 1 minute
  3. Then mix the potatoes, carrots, cashews, jalapeno and tomato sauce
  4. Also season with salt and curry powder
  5. Keep stirring and cook for 10 minutes or until the potatoes are tender
  6. Now add the green bell pepper, peas, red bell pepper and the cream into the skillet
  7. Reduce the heat to low and simmer the contents for 10 minutes
  8. Vegetarian Korma is ready
  9. Garnish it with cilantro and serve alongside rice or naan
