Ice Tea


Overview:

Ice Tea is a chilled, refreshing beverage made from brewed tea, sweetened and often flavored with lemon or other fruit extracts. It's perfect for cooling down on a hot day.

Ingredients:

  • 4 tea bags (black or green tea)
  • 4 cups boiling water
  • 1/4 cup sugar (or to taste)
  • 2 cups cold water
  • Ice cubes
  • Lemon slices and fresh mint for garnish

How to Make It:

  1. Brew the Tea: In a heatproof pitcher, steep the tea bags in boiling water for 5-10 minutes. Remove the tea bags and stir in the sugar until dissolved.
  2. Cool the Tea: Add cold water to the brewed tea. Let it cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled.
  3. Serve: Fill glasses with ice cubes, pour the chilled tea over the ice, and garnish with lemon slices and fresh mint.
  4. Enjoy: Serve immediately, with additional sugar or lemon as desired.
