Ingredients:

  • 500g basmati rice
  • 750g chicken/mutton
  • 1 cup yogurt

  • Whole spices (cardamom, cloves, cinnamon)
  • Fresh coriander and mint leaves


How to Make
:

  1. Cook the Meat: Heat oil and fry onions until golden. Add green chili paste, yogurt, tomatoes, and marinated meat. Cook until tender.
  2. Cook the Rice: Parboil the rice with whole spices.
  3. Layering: Layer the meat and rice, topping with fried onions and saffron milk.
  4. Final Dum: Cook on low heat for 20 minutes.
  5. Serve: Garnish with chopped coriander and serve with a cucumber raita.
